Update- 6 years post whipple

I actually forgot my whipple-versary this year. Just a short year ago i didn't think that could be possible. But for the first time since my surgery i was doing exactly what i've always wanted to do at that period each year: travel! I was away celebrating life and enjoying myself too much to thing about cancer. I turned a new page where i can forget even if it's for just a few days.

There are days when i really need to remind myself that since my last surgery in September there are certain things i can't do yet.

Bellow that's me (in black) on a hike - 4 months post Anasthomosis
I thank God every day for each new day.
